Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use Synq on behalf of an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization.

1. The service

Synq surfaces job matches, generates tailored application materials, files applications you approve, and hosts short video pitches for recruiter review. The service is in beta and may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Autonomous applications

Nothing is submitted without your approval. You remain responsible for the accuracy of everything filed on your behalf, including answers to employer screening questions. Where an employer's site cannot be completed automatically, control is handed back to you.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your Career Vault content, resumes, and video pitches. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content to operate the service — including showing it to recruiters for roles you applied to and through public links you create.

5. Acceptable use

  • No false credentials, impersonation, or fabricated employment history.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated abuse of the platform or of employer sites.
  • No harassment of recruiters or candidates, and no unlawful or discriminatory use.

6. Recruiter obligations

Recruiter accounts may use candidate profiles, pitches, and fit data only for evaluating that candidate for a role. Redistribution, resale, or use for model training is prohibited.

7. Fees

The service is free during beta. Paid tiers will be announced before any charge applies, and you will be able to decline them.

8. No employment guarantee

AI-generated matches, scores, and materials are assistive tools. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes, and we are not a party to your relationship with any employer.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put other users at risk.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed opportunities or failed submissions on third-party systems.
